Niall Breslin, or Bressie as he is now known, first came to prominence as lead singer and guitarist with The Blizzards, one of Ireland's most up and coming rock bands. Bressie's first 2 albums with the Blizzards both went double platinum in Ireland.

However in January 2010 he decided that he needed a new challenge. Bressie moved to London and began work as a writer and producer at 19 Entertainment, owned by Simon Fuller and home to Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

His own album was launched in September 2011. Under the name Bressie, 'Colourblind Stereo' is his first solo album. His debut solo single 'Can't Stay Young Forever' was a top 20 hit and also a huge radio hit. His rockier but similarly anthemic 'Good Intentions' was also a hit.

He is now a well-known TV celebrity as a coach on The Voice.
